I struggled a lot during my teenage years, constantly comparing myself and endlessly scrolling through Pinterest and TikTok. It all looks inspiring, but most of it is fake. As a busy student, I didn’t have the time to truly understand the process or give myself the patience I needed. That’s when I realised consistency is the key.

I usually take a bowl of chilled water and add a few ice cubes. Then I gently dip my face into it for as long as I can tolerate. I repeat this process 4–5 times. Then gently pat your face with a cotton cloth.
