That’s when the DIY hair spa enters. If you are also facing dry, frizzy, rough hair, these homemade hair masks will actually make a big difference. I want to tell you that the homemade masks I have been discussing here are one of the reasons I have smooth, shiny hair today (not kidding).
No matter whether I use heat styling tools or not, my hair looks just the same: dry, dull, and tacky. For that, I stopped using any heat tool for 4 months, but it didn’t make any difference.

I personally love this combination because it is so simple (no heavy ingredients) and so nourishing too, especially when my hair feels tired from heat styling.
Start applying from the mid-lengths to the length where the most dryness happens. I don’t recommend applying this mask to the scalp as it works as a deep conditioner, and it can increase scalp buildup, especially if you have an oily scalp.
Gently coat your hair, massaging it lengthwise, and then leave it on for like 30-40 minutes, and then do your shampoo.

One mask I personally love is made with cooked rice, aloe vera gel, castor oil, and honey. This mask is especially great for people whose hair feels dry, lifeless, or weak almost every day.
