Is a 7-day glow up a real thing? I was almost skeptical to even think of this like who can transform in a week? Glow up is about the whole transformation and one week is less for it to expect fabulous results, but who gotta say you will not?

It is a time to let focus on yourself a bit and make you glow up like a goddess!

Glow up is not all a complicated process, I make it so easy for you and break down each and every point which makes you start your glow up routine and you can do it when you have some time in a day or when you are planning for some vacation and a little you also spend time with yourself, and that’s the best thing.

It is not necessary that you have to do it for a week because a week would be less for expecting some huge transformations but at least trying it for a week will make you happy inside and out and genuinely make you a better version of yourself.

I am not lying but I have heard about oil cleansing maybe a million times and kept ignoring it because the idea of putting oil on my face did not sound right to me at all. I finally tried it and oh hello, where has this been my whole life?

It removes all dirt, makeup, sunscreen all the stuff from your face that even your face wash cannot do and gives you a squeaky clean look.

All you do is take a little cleansing oil, massage it onto dry skin in circular motions for about a minute and then rinse it off with your cleanser nicely. That is it. Do this every single night this week and I promise you will see a difference in your skin by day three, genuinely!

Wake up and smell the coffee, babe. If you are still not using SPF every single day then you are genuinely working against yourself and all the other effort you are putting in means so so much less without this!

Then apply a thick layer of a good lip balm and let it soak in. Kept ready and polished nails always always look better and I cannot stress this enough!

You do not need to go to a salon or spend a lot of money, at home just file them into a nice shape, push back your cuticles, buff the surface and apply a coat of your favourite polish. Even a simple nude or a clean clear coat looks so so chic and put together. And all it takes is fifteen minutes and the difference it makes to how polished you look overall is genuinely worth it!

Your hair deserves a glow up too and honestly a good hair mask is one of the easiest ways to give it one, straight up!

Apply a deep conditioning hair mask this week and leave it on for at least thirty minutes or overnight if you really want to go all in and wash it out. Wear Clothes That Actually Fit You Well

First, inspect your whole wardrobe and look for styles that actually highlight your best features and body shape. What makes you feel comfortable and look stylish? What screams YOU?

Don’t rush to buy things to make yourself guaranteed that you will wear this once you drop some pounds, do some shopping for the stuff that fits you today.

Find What Colors Make You Glow

There are some colours that just don’t look good on you but on the other hand there are some colours that make you glow like a charm and it all depends upon your complexion and tones.

Drink 2 Liters Of Water Every Single Day

I know that’s most boring advice ever but it can literally do wonders for you, your skin, your mood and overall glow. And also it can work for your weight loss.

Keep your water bottle where you can always see it, that is the trick that genuinely helps me a lot, I keep my water bottle 24/7 with me, lol! If it is in front of you, naturally you will drink more of it.

If you really want to glow up from inside, completely your daily intake is the best way and it has amazing benefits.

Add More Fruits & Veggies To Diet

This week or probably daily after that load your plate with foods that actually love your skin back, think berries, avocado, salmon, nuts, leafy greens, sweet potato. These are jam packed with antioxidants, healthy fats and vitamins that your skin is genuinely begging for. Cut back on sugar and processed food as much as you can because they are straight up stealing your glow and giving nothing back!

Sleep 8 Hours

Beauty sleep is so so real and I will not let anyone tell me otherwise, lol! Like no bone in my body believes you can glow up properly while running on five hours of sleep and puffy tired eyes!

Took eight hours every single night this week. I know it feels impossible especially if you are a late night scroller uhm uhm, put the phone down, babe! Get blackout curtains if you need to, stop screen time thirty minutes before bed, do a little journaling or reading to wind down. Whatever helps you actually get to sleep earlier, do it!

The difference in your skin, your energy and honestly just your whole vibe when you are properly rested is genuinely insane. It is hands down one of the most underrated glow up steps on this entire list!

Daily Hygiene

There is genuinely no point in doing all this work to glow up if your basic hygiene is not on point and I say this with so much love, straight up!

Brush your teeth twice a day, floss, use a tongue scraper and carry mints or a travel mouthwash with you. Fresh breath is so so important and it is one of those things that people notice even if they never say anything about it, iykyk! Shower regularly, use a good deodorant and just keep yourself clean and smelling good every single day. These basics are the foundation of the whole glow up and they are non negotiable!

Smelling good on purpose gives you a next level of happiness and it boosts your mood also and honestly it is one of the easiest glow up steps on this entire list, hurrah!

Find a signature scent you are genuinely obsessed with and wear it every single day. Spray it on your pulse points like wrists, neck, behind the ears and let it do its thing.

At the end of the day, you will feel good in yourself and way more confident.

Use Less Screen Time

Not gonna lie but excessive screen time is quietly stealing your glow and most of us do not even realise it. It messes with your sleep, it increases stress, it keeps you stuck in a comparison spiral and it genuinely shows on your face after a while!

This week set yourself a screen time limit even just reducing it by an hour or two a day makes such a difference. Use that time to do something that actually fills you up instead. Go for a walk, journal, do your skincare, read, stretch. Your mind will feel so so much clearer and calmer.

Get Rid Of Toxic Thoughts & Develop A Positive Mindset

If you really want to glow up your mind, I suggest you get rid of toxic thoughts and replace them with positive ones for a real, even if it’s just for a week. You’ll find so much peace.

Stop it and replace it with something kinder. You cannot pour from an empty cup and you cannot glow up while tearing yourself down at the same time. Be as kind to yourself as you would be to your best friend, always!
